What we offer
More than 148 language keyboards, from major languages like Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, French, German, and Spanish to less common scripts like Cherokee, Inuktitut, Tifinagh, and Coptic.
Practical text tools: word counter, character counter, case converter, transliteration, number-to-words, and more.
A growing library of typing guides, alphabet references, and phrasebooks for learners and professionals.
How it works
Each keyboard is a real on-screen layout you can click, or a remap you can use with your physical keyboard while the page is open. We support speech-to-text dictation and text-to-speech listening for languages your browser supports.
Everything runs in your browser. Open a page, type, copy your text, and you're done.
Who it's for
Students writing essays in a second language. Translators producing copy in scripts they don't have installed. Travelers replying to messages in another country. Developers and designers needing accented characters quickly. Anyone who wants to type in a language without setting up the OS for it.
Open and free
TypeKeyboard is free to use, with no account required. We may show unobtrusive ads to help cover hosting and development. If you'd like to support the project, share it with someone who needs it.
