Privacy Policy

TypeKeyboard is built around a simple idea: typing tools should not require an account, an email address, or any tracking to be useful. This page explains exactly what we do and don't collect.

What we do not collect

We do not require an account, login, or email address to use any keyboard, transliteration tool, or text utility on this site.

Everything you type into the on-screen keyboards or text tools stays in your browser. Your text is never sent to our servers and never stored on our infrastructure.

What is processed locally in your browser

Local storage may be used to remember your preferences (selected language, theme, layout) so the site feels right when you return. You can clear this at any time from your browser settings.

If you use the dictation (speech-to-text) or listen (text-to-speech) features, the audio is processed by your browser's vendor (for example Google Chrome's Web Speech API). We never receive that audio. Please check your browser's documentation if you want details on how it processes voice data.

Cookies and analytics

We may use a privacy-friendly analytics tool to understand which pages are popular. If used, it does not set cross-site cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and does not collect personal data.

If we display ads (for example Google AdSense), the ad provider may set its own cookies. You can manage these via your browser or the consent prompt that appears in regions where one is required.

Children

TypeKeyboard is suitable for general audiences and does not knowingly collect data from anyone, including children under 13. Because we do not require accounts, we have no mechanism to identify a user's age.

Your rights

Because we do not collect personal data, there is generally nothing to access, correct, export, or delete. If a regional law applies (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) and you have a question about your rights, contact us at the address on the contact page.

Changes to this policy

When we update this page we change the "last updated" date at the top. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
