How to use a Georgian Keyboard in Gmail
Gmail doesn't ship with every keyboard layout — but you don't need to install anything. Use the Georgian Keyboard below, copy your text, and paste it into Gmail. Works on Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android.
Steps to use the Georgian Keyboard in Gmail
- Click Compose in Gmail to open a new message.
- Switch to TypeKeyboard, type your message and click Copy.
- Return to Gmail's compose window and paste with Ctrl + V (Cmd + V on Mac).
- Use Gmail's font menu to switch to Sans Serif or Serif if your characters need a Unicode-rich face.

Frequently asked questions
Can I really use a Georgian Keyboard in Gmail without installing it?
Yes. The Georgian Keyboard above runs in your browser. Type your text, click Copy, then paste into Gmail — that's all there is to it.
Will Gmail display the characters correctly?
Modern versions of Gmail render Unicode out of the box. If you ever see boxes (□□□), switch the font to a Unicode-complete face such as Noto, Arial Unicode MS or Segoe UI.
Does this method work on mobile Gmail?
Yes. Open this page in your phone's browser, type with the Georgian Keyboard, tap Copy, then paste into the Gmail app on iOS or Android.
Is the text I paste into Gmail private?
Everything you type happens locally in your browser — TypeKeyboard does not send keystrokes anywhere. Once pasted into Gmail, normal Gmail privacy rules apply.
